Fountain Paint Pots
Yellowstone National Park
June 2023
99% of this boardwalk trail is accessible, but the designers thought it would be a great idea to place some stairs in the middle creating an impassable barrier for those in wheelchairs. I'm sure they could have built a ramp with a few switchbacks, but I'm guessing they didn't to save a little money. I know it could also be for environmental reasons, but the rest of the boardwalk and stairs don't seem to be an issue!
