In May 2026, we explored the Arkansas
Arboretum Trail at Pinnacle Mountain State Park near Little Rock, Arkansas.
This peaceful woodland trail offered us an opportunity to experience the
natural beauty of Arkansas together while exploring a landscape filled with
towering trees, lush vegetation, and quiet waterways.
The Arkansas Arboretum Trail is a 0.6-mile paved loop through an arboretum showcasing trees and plants representative of Arkansas’s six natural divisions. Interpretive signs help visitors learn about the state’s diverse forests and natural history. The trail is designated barrier-free and wheelchair accessible, making it a good option for families looking to enjoy nature.
