Alicia - Keys to the Summer Tour: A Night Out at the Maverik Center (West Valley City, UT)
July 28, 2023
Egypt has been a fan of Alicia Keys since forever and it never worked out where we could go see her in concert. Egypt got excited when she heard Alicia was going on a summer tour, but was instantly bummed to see she was skipping Sacramento. I already had our vacation week planned for Moab, UT when I saw the tour was stopping near Salt Lake City at the Maverik Center while we would be less than 4 hours away. Once I secured tickets (Front Row), I changed our hotel reservations to be more convenient. I wish the pictures could capture the excitement bursting from Egypt for more than two hours. I can go on, but Egypt summed it up with, "This was one of the greatest nights of my life!"

A Day at Four Corners Monument Navajo Tribal Park
Utah - Arizona - New Mexico - Colorado
July 2022
Egypt enjoyed standing in four states at the same time. The monument has completely changed since we took Kellisa to "sit on wheels" in four states simultaneously way back in June 2007.

Kellisa's Early Hiking Path (2000 - 2007)
![]() |
| Illinois Winters |
Kellisa's Path to visiting and hiking in all 50 United States started slow, mostly because of her unstable medical condition.
Kellisa drove through most of her early states to visit family in Illinois and Texas. Kellisa had her first dozen states visited before we started hiking in 2002. We didn't really start traveling with the intention to hike until 2006 when Kellisa was 7-years-old.
Below are some of the highlights from the early years along Kellisa's Path.
